I need my manager’s authorization, how can I do that?

If you are subject to the authorization of a line manager before you can express yourself on behalf of the company that employs you, then you have 2 solutions:

• You ask your line manager for written authorization, and once you’ve received it, you can pass it on to the person who invited you to inform him or her.
• You tell the person who invited you that you are not authorized to speak and that you will have to contact someone else in your company.
